Introduction
Processional ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use the Processional iOS application.
Information We Collect
Wedding plan data: The content you create in the app — venue layouts, participant names, timeline events, and arrangement snapshots — is stored on your device and optionally synced via Apple's iCloud service. We do not have access to this data.
Analytics data: We use Mixpanel to collect anonymized usage analytics, such as which features are used, session duration, and general app interaction patterns. This helps us improve the app experience. Mixpanel does not collect personally identifiable information through our integration. For details, see Mixpanel's Privacy Policy.
Crash reports: We use Firebase Crashlytics (by Google) to collect crash reports and diagnostics. These reports may include device model, OS version, app state at the time of crash, and crash stack traces. No personal content from your wedding plans is included in crash reports. Both Mixpanel and Firebase are required to provide the same or equal protection of user data as stated in this privacy policy, in compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The app does not use cookies. Analytics are collected through native iOS SDKs (Mixpanel and Firebase Crashlytics) as described above. The app does not display advertisements or use advertising tracking technologies.
iCloud Sync
If you have iCloud enabled, your wedding plan data syncs across your devices using Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. This data is stored in your personal iCloud account and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Analytics and crash data is processed by our third-party service providers (Mixpanel and Firebase Crashlytics) solely for the purposes described above.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Your wedding plan data is encrypted in transit and at rest when stored in iCloud using Apple's security infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
Wedding plan data: Stored on your device and iCloud account indefinitely until you manually delete it.
Analytics data: Mixpanel retains anonymized usage data in aggregate form for up to 5 years to analyze long-term trends.
Crash reports: Firebase Crashlytics retains crash data for up to 90 days, after which it is automatically deleted.
We retain data only as long as necessary to provide our services and improve the app.
International Data Transfers
Your analytics and crash data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where Mixpanel and Firebase operate servers. These countries may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. We ensure that any international data transfers comply with applicable laws, including GDPR Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
Your Rights
You can delete all app data by removing the app from your device. To delete iCloud data, go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > Processional. You may also contact us to request data deletion.
Your Privacy Rights (GDPR/CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under privacy laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
- Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to Data Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
- Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal information
- Right to Restrict Processing: Request limitation of data processing
- Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
If you are a California resident, you have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

Opt-Out of Analytics
You may opt out of analytics collection by disabling analytics sharing in the app's settings. This will prevent future analytics data from being sent to Mixpanel. Crash reporting remains active to help us identify and fix bugs that affect your experience.
Children's Privacy
The app is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation, email address, or personal information to function. All data is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud account.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
